I had lots of fun with these three, my daughter, Melkorka and her friends, Sigurbjörg and Ólöf.

These are from my session with Anna today…

My son-in-law, Valdi, became an uncle last week and I asked my daughter if she could ask the new parents if they’d wanted me to photograph their new baby. I wasn’t expecting it that soon, but they called on Sunday morning and said they were on their way.

The reason for them wanting this happening so soon, (the baby was only 3 days old) was because the next day they were going to take the baby to the hospital and have her legs put in cast, because she was born with clubfeet :(

The little girl was a doll through the whole photo shoot…. until we wanted to shoot her in her birthday suit… Then she just got really mad until she got her blanked on her again.

I will be posting more later once I get the chance to work on them but here are a couple..

Today the snow is all gone, but I was able to shoot a few photos of Anna and Stefan, and my brother Eggert’s boys yesterday.

On the last photo you can see Stefan in the back, pouting. Apparently I took an unwanted photo of him. He’s not to keen on having his photo taken, at least not with out his permission LOL!

Guðmundur Elís, the little on on the first photo had loads of trouble staying on his feet. He was dead tired, poor thing, and on top of that he’s not used to walk in this kind of outfit.

I love photographing my little ones when they are so deep in their own world that they don’t notice the camera.

Unfortunately it doesn’t happen very often as they usually get detracted by the camera… However after I started the 365 Days Kids Projects on Flickr they are getting used to me pointing the camera at them….

Maybe in a couple of weeks I’ll be able to catch more moments like these…
